Well yes, I am willing to travel to the next town to pick up pizza. But a
seven-hour flight to Britain with a mask on all the way? Nah. And it's not
the mask, but the need for a mask, that makes me crazy. I spent several
weeks travelling all over England and Wales in 2019, not realizing it could
be my last chance!
While I'm here: Yes the Decades book! The most new material (that is, not
in the doorstop book) comes from further research on the Australian years
and from Vince Melouney's comments on his time as a member in England. The
authors are also more willing than we were to give their opinions on the
songs, a topic I always find good reading whether I agree or not. Bonus:
you get little musical note confetti inside the font cover! Look out!

Well, I must give Mark and Andrew much of the credit for the expertise laid out in this first volume - my contribution was mostly editorial finesse. We managed to average out our Canamerican/Welsh/Aussie voices decently well, methinks. :)
And, Joe, none of us would be writing much of anything worthwhile without your website’s definitive detail. Really do hope you enjoy the book and merry, merry.
