The brothers singing was one of the few bright spots. EW&F and Aerosmith did good versions of "Got To Get You into My Life" and "Come Together", respectively.
As for their acting? Barry would argue that they weren't given a chance to act because there was no dialogue in this rock opera. However, Barry's acting in his "Now, Voyager" film doesn't necessarily prove your assessment wrong Kitt.
I had a hunch Maurice may have been a pretty good actor if he had the opportunity.
