Turn out the lights, close the doors, burn the place down type of dormant. No one prevents non-Americans from talking about their countries. We Americans do not complain when others do write about their countries. There is NO, NADA, ZILCH, NIL Gibb news. There won’t be any Gibb news. What you would love to hear and the reality of it just doesn’t work together any longer. Let’s face it, this Gibb dream has been long done. This isn’t even a Gibb list anymore. It’s just a list. And to crush any other lasting dreams …. NO!! There is no God damn Santa Claus either!!! ;) Bill ==========================3D=========================3D======================= Date: Wed, 9 Dec 2015 07:48:29 +0000 From: Robin Setty > Subject: We're not all American Can everyone here remember that we're not all American on this list. There is a world outside of the USA. Would love to hear more Gibb news here but would prefer empty digests to having a specialist mailing list hijacked. I for one, am appalled at the racist and angry comments. Too many these days are getting wrapped up in the illusion of fear and forgetting their manners. Venting pent up emotions inappropriately is not smart or welcome in a public forum dedicated to anoth Obligatory BG's content... Can anyone list any and all the songs with political or social justice content or intent? Isn't All the Children from Guilty Pleasures a response too...? Dear Mr Kissinger (unreleased). That is the whole list. Except for Mr Waller's Wailing Wall which has all sorts of political implications if you dwell on it enough . David Garcia, who would have loved to hear Mr William F Buckley Jr and Mr Gore Vidal discuss wailing bacon in NYC . Back to top

Date: Wed, 9 Dec 2015 12:24:02 -0500 From: David Garcia <garcia10303@gmail.com> Subject: Re: Apology request... & Song I think one of the problems we face in the internet age is that it is so easy to "find our flock" of like minded people in issues that matter to us the most. And we immerse ourselves in the online culture of like minded people, which can lead to difficulties when topics spill over into other areas. I'm sure there are all sorts of topics I could discuss here that would provoke hostility, but when I am online elsewhere these same ideas are welcomed and discussed with enthusiasm. It all takes a bit of patience and getting used to. In my case, it keeps me out of facebook, because I prefer to keep all these various groups that consider me "one of their own" unaware of each other. Besides, I was once kicked out of Barry Gibb's chatroom. My cousin might put that on my ancestry.com listing, and it will haunt me for generations to come... . David Garcia, who thankfully has a name that is hard to successfully google in NYC .
