I like this better than the Gray Ghost song. Chris. Back to top

I think it's one of the best songs on that proposed album. Excellent vocal by Barry with some rather intriguing lyrics. Although I wish I knew what the song was about. I can't get that first line of the chorus: It has the feel and sound of something you might hear in a film from that period. Perhaps more specifically, a British film? Or was it a nuclear plant accident? I'm losing track of these disasters. I can't remember the year either. 2007? It was dedicated to Japan, though. That I definitely remember. In any event. it was apparently written and recorded in 2005 and the song is really about the Tsunami of December 2004. "Mary's daughter fell into the water and now she is gone". I like it and consider it the best of the Barry & Sons songs, excepting some of the Streisand "Guilty Pleasures" songs. Sal Salvatore Compoccia compoccia@aol.com Back to top

I was buying everything Bee Gees I could get my hands on in 1970. Still am, actually.
