I have to admit I’m appalled at the line in the article, “Isbell went into the studio with one of the biggest stars of the ’70s: Barry Gibb, from the motherf*ing Bee Gees.” Excuse me??? Does anybody else find this description of Barry rather offensive? I’ll be the first to admit that I, personally, do not like county music as a genre. I wish Barry well, but I do wish he’d be described in news articles w the respect he deserves. OK, so I live in dreamland =E2 . Anne Back to top

And I never got into “Magnet.” While respecting the bros’ right to indulge in them, I pass on those musical experiments. They couldn't possibly have expected all their fans to rejoice.
