Actually, Barry often intimates that was the case and I just don't get it because ultimately, Barry certainly seemed to have gotten his way more than R&M did. One last thing about this issue, if R&M were against Barry doing a solo album then why did Maurice, and to a lesser extent Robin, help him with co-writing some of the material for the album?
