The interview didn't surprise me, after all, he is promoting his new album.
Linda seeing Andy's ghost was revealed years ago. I think they attributed a chair moving in Middle Ear to the ghost of Andy. And of course people saw ghosts in the Prebendal.
His reference to the twins always secretly chatting further validates my belief that Robin and Mo were closer than they let on, which I've always thought.
Shame on Robin for emptying out the vault. I suppose there are different ways to look at it. Were some of the songs that made various albums the result of Robin pushing for their inclusion? Did Barry push back on some of the songs Robin wanted and as a re
But how about releasing Kick. Robin managed to leave that one in the vault.
One thing is constant, Barry is still bothered over that Grammy he and Babs won, back in 80. Still angry after all these years. Hmm!

A few weeks ago I read that Barry has said that they have written over 1
thousand songs, (it may have been another number) but doing the math...
How many albums have they written... How many songs are generally on an
album... Brennan would probably know!

Yes, that still is a sore point with Barry. I think it's understandable, though. There should have been a point when R&M should have acknowledged that "Guilty" was Barry's project, with Streisand of course.

It's irrelevant whose call it was not to release Kick, it was years ago. The Atlantic boys have been dead for years, and now so is Stigwood. What are you saying, because Atlantic and Robert didn't release it back in 73 the Bee Gees were never allowed to r
As far as Barry still being sore about the twins not congratulating him on his Grammy, how petty of the twins, but I seriously doubt Barry said to Robin, "nice job" with Juliette. They were all petty.
I've heard Mo say Barry produced the album. How much recognition does one need? Maybe Barry should have just written it by himself. Ironic, I never hear Barry mention Albhy or Karl for their production contributions, and Albhy's writing on the album and t
But yeah, I guess I can understand Barry being sore over something that happened in 1980, after all, he was still pissed at something that happened in 1969.

I have absolutely no hope of ever seeing any unreleased material from the brothers. And based on Barry's recent revelation, it's Null! I'll continue to hang my hope on another vault being unlocked.

I'm not saying that at all and I'm a little confused as to why you would think that was the implication in my post. I was just referring to the decision not to release Kick in 1973, which was made by Stigwood or Atlantic Records. As far as any decision th

Well, we don't know that, do we? He might have congratulated Robin (and Mo).

Like many siblings so often are.

Yes, but usually both R&M would refer to Guilty, as well as the other records Barry produced in the 80's, as if they were done by all three and not projects exclusive to Barry. This is what seems to have irritated Barry and apparently still does.
But, I think R&M may have often spoke of those projects as "Bee Gees" projects because it was a practical way of promoting the group and later, burnishing their legacy. I mean, if they had to differentiate Barry's role as a producer and R&M as only co-wri

Karlbhy has, in some ways, been washed out of the Bee Gees story and I agree, Barry shares responsibility for their frequent omission. Robin and Maurice never seemed to mention either one after Living Eyes (perhaps with good reason). As for Barry, well Ka
