The Bee Gees were a world famous group with a lot of hit records, many of which st If in the hands of the right people e.g producers, directors, the right casting of the actors. A good cable network and the right kind of promotion, along with other intangibles, it could potentially generate a lot of interest. At least enough to justify Lastly, as that great philosopher George Constanza told Jerry Seinfeld when explaining why people would watch his idea for a TV show: "It's on TV". A mini series was done on the Temptations around 97, again, we'll received. I believe they were both on network TV. Recently, Lifetime has aired some mini biographies regarding recording artists. I wasn't impressed. Can't remember which network aired New Edition about 1.5 years ago, but it was excellent, from the actors, the music, vocals, and storyline. New Edition wa It has been popular for some time to create a live show, whether Broadway or West End portraying different artists. As usual, some are done better than others. I seen Motown a few years back on Broadway, what a disappointment. It was fluff, but Berry Gord I think it could be done, and well, but the gloves will need to come off... or don't do it. And to do it justice it must be longer than 2 hours, which is the typical setting for a live show.
