In the 2017 Grammy Awards, a special broadcast was done of the Bee Gees songs performed by others. Barry and his whole family was there. Some songs were never performed. Dearest was left out. Wine and Women was left out. Boogie Child? No way was that song included. And people complain that Barry has shown resistance to unreleased demos being put out on mass market albums. Those three songs were on mass market albums in their time. Barry says all he feels as if all the Gibb songs are like his children. I disagree. Some songs should have been drowned in the bathtub. He just won't admit it. Well, I have written songs that should never have been saved to the Google Drive. But I wrote them anyway, because... well. No idea. I just did. If you wonder why I'm not shoveling songs links into the list like coal into a steam engine... it hurts. Sometimes. These are songs that hurt to acknowledge. They are as follows: 1) Just Another Day Gone By: Catchy, but less than a minute long, because I can't quite bring myself to write more verses. My sequencer had a "Liverpool" preset, and I wanted to try it out. And I came up with this. And it haunts me like a Kars-4-Kids jingle. I browsed sequencer presets, and came up with the cheesiest Latin Pop setting imaginable. I have yet to search for anything else. Because, quite honestly... I don't know what else to do with this song. Link: https://drive.google.com/open?idz9sGotoMRArlQgzMbj6xFFTcvOXO_Om 3) "Silver Rivers." I actually like this song. But then again, I may have autism. I redid the verses in 2013, took a pop present and changed guitar to calliope. And muted out percussion. Then I recorded the verses, and by the time I realized that I screwed up vocals on the fade out, was beyond caring. Have done nothing at all with it since. And I stopped caring several years ago. Life's too short! Not caring is a lovely feeling!
