If it's remastered, I would buy it just because my CD copies weren't
remastered and I got some tracks in ways that weren't high fidelity
(although Apple did replace them so...) But if it's not, no way.
I just don't get it. They could remaster them, add extras and make more
money because we'd all buy again. Like I noted earlier in the week, Led
Zeppelin is sending out a 40th anniversary of Physical Graffiti, with extra
unreleased tracks. Boom, people will be lining up because the old fans will
want it. And don't you think Sirius would put together a Bee Gees channel
for a weekend? How many tribute acts are out there doing the music? Even
with PBS specials, because the Australian Bee Gees were on my PBS station
because they're coming to my town. The interest is there, why not
capitalize and make more money? Or has no one explained this to TPTB?
My thoughts...

Extremely, but I'm used to it.

I have a strong suspicion that it's been Barry all along that's been
against continuing the reissues, including releasing unreleased material.
Just as I suspected it was Barry that wanted that ridiculous Mythology set
with Andy included as a Bee Gee. This ludicrous release is no different, to
me, that the Warner Bros. release that came out not too long ago--which I
have yet to purchase, and I will not be purchasing this.
What else could it be?..
Someone will think of something. I find it odd when discussing
reissues/unreleased material how it's so difficult because the major
stakeholders (families, management (what management?), and record company)
must come together. But these inane releases seem to fly right off the
shelf.

I wholeheartedly agree with you! Mo money, Mo money... Will they/Barry
every give a rats ass about their fans. Oh, I forgot--that's what the Myth
tour was for. Opps, I'm wrong again--that was to pay tribute to his
brothers. What a crock of crap!
And I think to myself ... if only I had swamp land to sell them....

I got a little swamp land left, I'll share. Hell, we'd have a lot of takers!

I can’t believe Sirius wouldn’t give them a channel all for themselves.
Freakin’ Elvis has been dead for just short of 40 years and he has a channel! The Grateful Dead, Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Neil Diamond all have permanent channels.
Once in a while they give a month to some other people whose names I can’t recall right now.
Aussie Bee Gees are coming to South Florida also but ….. ticket prices aren’t reasonable enough for me to see them.
