Yes, Charley Pride is most definitely country. In fact, he's a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. I've never heard about Robin's liking him though. Interesting... I would recommend a few "essential" Charley Pride songs to anyone on the list. Kiss an Angel Good Morning, Snakes Crawl at Night (my fave), Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone?, and Mountain of Love (early 80's IITS-type song).
