For instance a= fter reading the comments about the clips of the DJ tribute song, I expected= something really great. However when I listened to the clip, I didn't get th= at feeling. Barry hasn't exactly produced chopped liver during the recent pa= st. He has had some really great moments. Granted, he has had some not so gr= eat moments as well. I would not write him off for his recent musical contri= butions. He is trying to find his way, just as Robin is trying to find his w= ay after Maurice's death. I do not think Barry should be criticized for work= ing with his sons-this must be where his comfort zone is right now. I think=20= we would all like to see Barry and Robin work together again, but evidently=20= the timing or karma or whatever is not right at the present time. If it ever= happens, that will be the right time. The comments directed towards Robin a= re mostly encouraging. I don't notice the same encouragement directed toward= s Barry. I am not meaning to start a war, but this is what I have been noticing. =20 =20 ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 May 2008 00:29:20 EDT From: Compoccias@aol.com Subject: Re: Rif: Rif: Barry & Olivia Lyrics In a message dated 5/17/2008 9:35:34 A.M. I love the BEE GEES >and Barry and Robin both but i find that people judge Barry in a way and >Robin in another!!!! >K I don't buy that. Robin has been criticized on the list. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the criticism has been more frequent than any criticism directed towards Barry. This all started because some members (myself included) had a lukewarm response to Barry's latest song. We've seen this before. It's really less to do about any bias against Barry and more to do with an overreaction of the more Barry-centric fans to anything that is less than glowing praise of anything Barry does. It actually gets a little ridiculous Sal **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food. I ignored it until others made the same observations. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 May 2008 08:54:44 +0200 From: "Gibb Collectors Scandinavia" Subject: Sheet music Hi Chris I've got loads of sheet music - which songs are you looking for ?
