These are the songs on SIE that I think are excellent: Paying the Price of Love Kiss of Life How to Fall in Love, Pt. 1 Omega Man Haunted House Heart Like Mine Anything For YOu Blue Island Above and Beyond For Whom The Bell Tolls Fallen Angel In other words, and much shorter too, the whole album is excellent. Any Bee Gees fan can tell you that without this album, you are missing a whole bunch. It's so amazingly put together, and the Brothers did an excellent job on songwriting and singing. Each of their voices are used in their ultimate form. Barry's falsetto is so amazing. Robin's angelic voice is captivating. Maurice's smooth voice is...well....SEXY. I don't know about you, but i'd buy this album as soon as possible. If you miss out on this album, you're missing out on some of their greatest songs. This album should have received more recognition than it did by the media. Ohh...and the pictures are hot too..... ~Narissa...who thinks she spoke well on behalf of the fans who love this album.... ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 18:15:15 EDT From: Fran1184@aol.com Subject: Re: Friday 6/25/99 Bee Gee's on TV The show was great because the brothers seemed to be the highlight or at least I felt they was. They had some great artists from the 70's on like the spinners, styleistics, Donna Sommer, Eagles and Olivia Newton-John was the one who introduced the brothers. I couldn't think of her name when I posted before. I think it ran almost 2 hrs. There was others that sang songs I remembered, but I can't think of the groups. I will have to watch it again and write down who all was on it. Anyway it was a great rememberance of the 70's. Then they had the last two "Paying The Price of Love" and "You Should Be Dancing". They cut off most of YSBD and that wasn't nice, but I didn't mind as they use that song to much anyway. I absolutely love that CD. I never knew they had released it and my daughter found it one day looking for CD's for me. I was tickled pink over it and listen to it a lot. In fact, I think I bought about 12 of them to give to my kids and friends I was so tickled to know that they hadn't quit the business. I have a spare one in case I wear the first one out. :-) Fran in Cols., Ohio ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 18:27:13 EDT From: Fran1184@aol.com Subject: Re: Sandys e-mail address It's angeldog@iafrica.com Sandra Gordon. I have the tape. Other songs that I like are "I Would Do Anything", "Above and Beyond", "Fallen Angel" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls". I love the rhythm in "Above and Beyond". ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 19:47:22 -0400 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Canadians C'mon, Joe, is that really necessary? In addition to "Playing the Price of Love", which I think is phenomenal, I vote for "Omega Man" "Kiss of Life" "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Fallen Angel" By the way, even if you only ended up liking just the one song, isn't it worth buying the CD just for that? That song is heavenly. Plus, I'm all in favor of anything that tells the record companies that there's support for the guys' record sales! The album is a fully loaded album. I mean, you can't really get any better than that for an album in the early 90s. The critics must've seen the artist and thought 'Disco sucks.' Exaclty how many copies did it sell? I love this album...just had to declare my love for it....and yes...the pictures in the booklet and on the CD itself are marvelous...especially the front and back.... ~Narissa ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 20:55:03 -0400 From: Georgette Hodson Subject: Argentina tourbooks --------------1F942AD94A265A2BF55ED46D Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all, I still have two of these tour books left. It's really sweet to hear that girls and women see the Bee Gees as attractive guys. Narissa, you should have seen Barry Gibb in 1976 or so singing songs such as "Words." You'd have had to be held back. I'd admire his beauty as a handsome male (even though I am a guy)as well as a very talented singer/songwriter/performer. Some bands are purely studio bands; the Bee Gees know how to make great recordings but can really perform on stage! My favorite photo of them is in the inside of "Two Years On." So don't feel inhibited as far as I am concerned. Just enjoy yourself; keep on liking Barry, Robin, and Maurice along with the rest of us, and tell me how you feel. It's alright! It's 1999! ------------------------------ End words Digest (06/27/1999 00:00) ***********************************
