1It's Disco, not Discomiddleear@gmail.com

whatever was popular on the dance floors, might be more of an European thing, I don't know the entire chain of cause and effect.
A military march could have become the most Disco song, "Falling Soldiers from the Sky" comes to mind, as sht happens.

I saw in a music harmony book in the 80s, two pages on popular music classification by the drum beat. Basically you'd play the hi-hat twice in
the Rock rhythm to get Disco. But, IMHO, it's not how good music is created.

Some say ABBA is Disco. No. ABBA is ABBA, the Bee Gees are the Bee Gees, they are their own style.

But here's why my first impression of NOB was what it was. The arrangement. And the damn hi-hat. There's that something in the mix,
the air, the steps, I don't know how to describe something that can't be described in words. That feeling didn't last, though,
as soon as I got used to the sound, it stopped sounding like Disco.

Whenever I state I don't like Country music, some tell me the new Country is bad indeed, but the old Country was quite good.
Well, when I said Alive was a Country song, it's because that's how I imagine the old Country music. I heard some of it, and
to me it's from the same barrel. Not bad, just without any depth musically, remove the vocal and you're left with some cowboy chords.
"Don't Forget to Remember Me" not a Country song? It's a Country Anthem!
