I believe Bonnie Tyler's "I Need a Hero" was originally heard in Footloose.
But the best song from the Footloose soundtrack, IMHO, is the underrated "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)" from Kenny Loggins. I believe it is only heard briefly in the movie, but it was enough to get me hooked.
