I think the new record company and Gibb management would be remiss if they
didn't have a greatest hits compilation in print when a big TV special is
about to air. Loads of people, casual fans, will watch the show and will
be driven to purchase a Bee Gees hits CD. This is a case of filling the
immediate need. Hopefully there will be better stuff to come for serious
fans later.

Subject: Loudness wars
Of course it will be a 'modern' mastering. The public (at whom this release
will be aimed) expects loud.
People mainly listen to music with background noise nowadays. They don't
sit in their music room in silence.
