Well, I'll tell you. The guitar in the newer version fits nicely. The adlibs and the subtle humming works well and brings out an emotional aspect. Although the harmonies are good, the original are spot on. Not too many people can come close to the Bees Gees harmonies. I too wish this version was limited to Spencer and Steven singing lead. Where as the original seemed to me like a track the brothers laid down quickly and perhaps wrote in less than an hour. The Bill Shepard Having said that, the original still turned out pretty nicely.
