Oh dear oh dear oh dear... what a load of c*ap!! It's a totally pointless release (apart from the £££$$$, which I know is unfortunately the most important thing these days). I think Universal must have had a work experience lad in for a few days: UNIVERSAL GUY : "Hey son, listen; turn that computer on and find Photoshop and rustle up an album cover for a Bee Gees release, use any old picture and base the theme around the number one..." Five minutes later... WORK EXPERIENCE LAD : "Is this ok...?!" UNIVERSAL GUY : "Yeah that'll do..." ANOTHER UNIVERSAL GUY WALKING BY : "Immortality wasn't a number one? Where's Chain Reaction, because that was?!" UNIVERSAL GUY : "Oh who cares, just get the bloody thing out!" WORK EXPERIENCE LAD : "I shan't mention that Robin's sometimes got hair these days then..." The thing is.... I'll still buy it!!!!! grrrrrr LOL Paul __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! I mean how accurate is this?? Bet there were GREAT sounds coming from there!! (Linda? Janel? Jen? you hear this??? wink, wink!) stellas16@comcast.net wrote: Maybe this CD--which has been in the planning stages for nearly a year now--was intended to simply help get the guys back in the limelight, help promote Robin's concerts and new CD, and Barry's projects, which he's been busy on for the past year and a hal I mean, we all saw the photos of Barry coming and going in July from the studio. It's been reported that he's been recording new stuff, including some great Barry ballads as noted by those who were lucky enough to have been at the studio at the time...ear Barry is also scheduled to be in the studio the last week of October/first week in Novemeber...for 6-7 weeks. What, oh what , could he be working on? Oh ye of little faith -- perhaps we'll see another CD on the heels of The Bee Gee's #1's and Magnet. Helen --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? I didn't mean I was particularly impressed with it, I was merely making a point. Everyone's tastes differ. No one can say how the next person will react to it, even if one or all on this list hate it. I would have liked to see a nice photo of the guys, but hey, I'm not gonna think too much into it. I'll let the artsy-fartsy people do their job. Art is art in the eye of the beholder and I'm guessing the one who put this cover together thought it was pr Now that I look at it again, I kinda like the way they blended the number one into the three of them. It's the old 70s look. As if they were saying one voice...great...two...better...but all three of us as one, well, that's some kind of magic and we know Helen --NextPart_Webmail_9m3u9jl4l_5839_1097024483_0-- ------------------------------ End words@brothersgibb.com Digest [10/05/2004 21:01] ----------------------------------------------------
