I was thinking the same thing. He's looking older and thinner but good. (Can anyone think of any other person who has gone through so many "looks"?) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 00:44:28 -0400 From: "LM Smith" Subject: Re: 40 concerts This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_07DF_01C399C7.FB3FA620 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Joy :) asks: >Anyone else have any thoughts about a tour?? He must think he looks better/younger with it on. However, I disagree. I never think middle-aged men with copious fringes look very natural! Personally, I don't think it makes him look any younger. In fact, I think he actually looks more cheerful and more manly with it off and I like him much better like that. Do you think his toupee helps him to sell more records anyway? I think young people can see that he's past his first flush of youth and we middle-aged folk don't care (speaking for myself, anyway)! It must have taken a lot of bottle but it was the right thing to do. I also think receding is more difficult for Barry to come to terms with and may be make witsh to stay out of the spotlight Julian ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 10:23:23 +0300 From: "melissagibson" Subject: Re: Robin's "New" Look .... Like those people on that Fame Academy message board, and the "Robin Gibb Wig Appreciation Thread"! I think someone posted a link to that back when Rob was on Fame Academy, so you've probably read them. They seem to really have it in for him on there. I thought some of those remarks were quite nasty. And some people write posts about him having ulterior motives for giving Alistair a helping hand, and that he's just using him to help his own career. "Our" Robin wouldn't do that! At least some people have jumped in to defend him.
