Reading the news about Robin's solo album is making me realize how old I'm getting. SEVENTEEN YEARS??? I couldn't believe it, then I remembered where I was when I bought my Walls Have Eyes album - I counted forward and sure enough - it was 17 years. HAS IT REALLY BEEN SEVENTEEN YEARS SINCE I HEARD TOYS FOR THE FIRST TIME (The first Bee Gees song to come out after Stayin Alive Soundtrack and the last before ESP)????? I really don't know where the time has gone - but I'm digressing. Up to 1985, the Bee Gees national career was barely 17 (maybe 18) years old - hsd that much time since passed? I remember 1967-1985 and it took a hell of a lot longer to pass than 1985-today!!!!! Well, the trend is usually First Robin has an album, then Barry does something and Maurice is somewhere in between. Any chance of Karl, Albhy, Dennis, or Blue coming back round this time? Sort of like the best line-up of Fleetwood Mac working together again? One never knows, although I seriously doubt that ever happening. ===== Ronnie Olsson The Omnipotent King of Scania ****************************************************** Homepage: http://hem.passagen.se/rool8206/ Wanted List: http://www.klippan.seths.se/~kl19082a/ ****************************************************** _____________________________________________________ Gratis e-mail resten av livet på www.yahoo.se/mail Busenkelt! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 03 Oct 2002 12:13:17 -0700 From: "Christine Secrist" Subject: Re: Silence is golden...but boring My computer fared well under the humidity. *wink*, I think the list still works, Christine E. ----Original Message Follows---- OK, let's get one thing straight! When receiving news about a new Gibb/Bee Gees album do not start to salivate when close to the computer. So that's what's causing it :o) I did wonder where everybody had got to. Perhaps we're all still digesting the good news and don't know how to follow it. Anyway, I'm still here, just about. I think it is great for all the Robin fans, but I would much rather have A Bee Gee album.
