(#2002-3164) - Topics this issue: 1) SV: Maurice, ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon, 21 Oct 2002 06:53:41 +0200 From: "Per Bausager" Subject: SV: SV: Maurice Weak was not said about Mo's voice - just that it compared with his brothers is limited. It has nothing to do with blends. At live solo performances (before they used pre-taped vocals) it was easy to tell the difference. And try to imagine Maurice singing Angela, Tragedy or Rings Around the Moon. How many people, for instance, might think that because Barry frequently blends his voice with Robin's voice on a lot of songs, he has a weak voice? Barry and Maurice have blended their voices on occasions as well yet Barry is never knocked for having a weak voice. But, the point is he doesn't have a weak voice and neither does Maurice - Maurice's voice is underused when it comes to the leads. He's comfortable with letting Barry and Robin do the majority of the leads and having his one or two leads. Peace, Frank > The initial question was not concerning Mo's musical contributions.
