From Kirsten ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Oct 2002 21:11:37 +0100 From: "Julian Glass" Subject: Robin Solo Since the end of Spirits the Bee Gees has been the temporary epithete for occasion work by the three Gibb intented to be marketed as the Bee Gees. Other work projects have been accommodated to the mutual convenience of them all. No doubt Robin's solo project is no different. Since 1980 when the Bee Gees have held wealth greater than their wildest dreams the need for a successful Bee Gees has meant that they receive the critical acclaim for their work as part of popular music culture. As individual brothers they have been able to further their careers outside the Bee Gees and Robin's album project is no different. Whether Barry and Maurice have ambitions for themselves only they can say. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Oct 2002 13:17:44 -0700 From: "Christine Secrist" Subject: Re: Robin Solo I third the emotion. Most of us will not notice any major changes. The list should run smoother with less down time. *** Please Note: If you have a "BrothersGibb.com" email account, and used to check your email via the "Web Interface" http://www.brothersgibb.com:2000 (notice the port ':2000') you can no longer collect your email this way. Due to this upgrade, if you have a "brothersgibb.com" account and you would like to check your WEBMAIL, just go to: http://www.brothersgibb.com/webmail We did not HAVE to make this change, but now it is easier for you to check your 'brothersgibb.com' web mail. There are a few NEW items as well. If you have a brothersgibb.com email account, you now have a Web Calender built right into your Web email. In fact if you go to "Tools" then "Personalize", you can actually choose a "Themes", (a look, layout, background) that looks similar to Microsoft Outlook. (for this theme though, you need to have Internet Explorer 5.5 or later)) There is also a utility called "ComAgent" that you can download from the "Tools" section of your Web email. Just download and install it, (if interested) It is a small utility that will sit on your menu bar on your computer. It will alert you when you have new mail. Yes, this is nothing new. But what is cool is that it is also an "IM" Client. (Instant Messaging. Ok, also nothing new). But what it will do is if there is any other members that have a brothersgibb.com email account on the list server, you can set them up in your "Buddy List" and IM them when they are logged in. Keep in mind that this will only work if you try and IM someone else that has an email account on the list server, and they also have the "ComAgent". Most of the users that have email accounts on the list server have been excluded from being visible to the IM list. If you have a brothersgibb.com email address and you would like me to add you to the list, please feel free to email me. If you have been included and would like to be taken off the list, please email me as well. I tried not to add users that may object to being listed. If you do not have a brothersgibb.com email account and would like to have one, please go to: http://www.brothersgibb.com/webmail You will be able to create one there. I am still experimenting with all of this. If you would like to assist me in testing, please send me a private email at: cmathis@brothersgibb.com If you have any email questions or problems, please feel free to contact me. Thanks, .....----===*Chris... ..... ------------------------------ End words@brothersgibb.com Digest [10/07/2002 00:02] ----------------------------------------------------
