In need of a middle eight to turn it into a single and Bill Shepherd's strings need to be more prominent. Living Eyes takes the biscuit as the weakest though. I've always felt this to be the weakest Bee Gees album ever. And yet, playing it through for the first time in a while, I really enjoyed it. Gawd - The Bee Gees were great weren't they! I wish they would act like two grown men and get back together! I think Barry has a right to be mad ,according to what I heard him say on one of the ev shows, but come on, enough is enough. Obviously, he's been working with Alan on and off (mostly on) since the early 1970s. But Denis and Blue? Denis's last involvement on a Gibb project was (I believe) Robin's How Old are You? (Or might he also have been involved in Now Voyager - I can't remember.) Blue's last involvement was even earlier - i.e. the abortive early living eyes sessions in 1981. So, do you think there's any substance to this? Or is it just whim? Do you think these guys might become involved in Barry's country album?
