On another homophobic note: I will never forget the Bee Gees on Johnny Carson one night. I'm sure Maurice had a few cocktails in the green room. Carson mentioned David Bowie and how he was "transfixed" by his performance. Maurice kept saying, "Great gal, uh, er guy", several times. I'm sure Mo wasn't phobic but Carson just ignored it.
