character seems tormented and he sort of comes off as  sympathetic. I doubt

would have painted such a picture for Hitler.  Especially, being such a
Churchill and Union Jack Englishman.

Speaking of:
I went to the "True Colors" concert (Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, Erasure, 
Margaret Cho, etc.) at the Greek Theater in Berkeley Friday night.  It was 
packed and for a liberal Berkeley crowd, it was SO SUBDUED!  Everyone was 
perfectly behaved and very little pot smoking.  What has happened to the 
liberal world?

Well, not really. I was a baby in the late 60's. But, I do remember  the 
left-over hippies from the early 70's.
