I think its a disgrace for the prices to be what they are. When did these interviews take place? http://68.109.231.118/pub/let1.mp3 http://68.109.231.118/pub/let2.mp3 http://68.109.231.118/pub/ny.mp3>>> No video - just muddy audio. I just found an overview of that movie at www.imdb.com. What does Cucumber Castle mean on earth? Does it have some cultural connotations? Plus, how is it related to the same titled track from the Bee Gees' First album?>>> Oh Robert! I suspect in 1967, that "Cucumber Castle" was a clever play on words for a little ditty, but when the TV special came out in 1969, it was clear that Barry (at least) referred to his 'cucumber' in hand, as his 'cucumber'. "My cucumber and I would like to..." A not so indirect reference to his penis. Not to forget the great song, "To lose your Penis". Anybody on this list plan to go?>>> No doubt, that Babs-sy will sing two songs with Barry LIVE once, and then via a video conference screen. I suspect, one song from each album. Oh dear, its just like she's cheating on Neil Diamond! (I almost threw up when I heard her say that at the Grammys). I've never been to one of her concerts, and truly thought I had missed the opportunity. So I made up my mind not to miss this chance. I'm also thinking that if Barry is going to show up at any of her concerts the Lauderdale one is probably the best bet being it's not all that far from his Miami home. I'm not counting on this, but it would be a nice surprise. I could be wrong, but from the picture it looks like the same venue that BG2K was at, but it has a different name. There's a good three CDs there. Hi Joe - I think it would be great for Robin to release his own box set. I know he probably concentrates on singing the BeeGee songs that he thinks everyone wants to hear at his concerts, but I'd love it if he did a "Robin Gibb" concert, and hope that at some point he considers his own box set. A few years ago he hinted at updating the Sing Slowly Sisters collection, but I don' t think it's been mentioned since the Mojo interview.
