Oh for the days when all we needed to play our favourite music was a record/CD player or tape recorder, even if it wasn't quite the latest or best model! The same one would last for years. In those days, nobody was excluded from hearing what they wanted on the grounds that they couldn't afford to update their computer software every three months or so.
