Zule, this is not a personal thing. It happens to us all. An infected computer takes random names out of its address book. It sends virus emails from one name in the address book to another name in the address book. It does not know who you are. We all know it was not from you. All you need to do is protect your own computer with antivirus software. Then you will have no need to worry. There are some people on the list that feel no one can say a word about what Robin or Barry do and don't, because they don't owe us anything, and whatever they choose to do is fine etc. etc. But then you could as well close the list. I have mixed emotions about the Magnet tour. I applaud Robin for getting on stage with an orchestra, and get back in touch with the audience. But then he chooses to sing Bee Gees songs he co-wrote yes, but that don't suit him at all. How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever and Words just are so much stronger when Barry sings them, just like I Started A Joke, And the Sun Will Shine and When Do I lose all the drama when they are robbed of Robin's unique timbre. He just lacks an intimate softness and on other occasions a thriving force that How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever and some other songs on his list require. And the reason why there are no more songs from Magnet (2 is already too much) on the list is, because they pale in comparison to all Bee Gees songs ever written. If I were Robin, I'd do more in the line of Saved By The Bell - Broken Heart and... Too Much Heaven (that'd suit him better), and some upbeat solo songs. He shouldn't worry about German chart success 37 years ago and let that be his selection criterium. That's somewhat ridiculous... -- Juan.nl ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 20 Sep 2004 11:59:23 +0100 (BST) From: Robin Setty Subject: Diana Ross --0-13210669-1095677963=:50424 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Did anyone catch that Diana Ross programme on Channel 5 (UK) last night. It was a rather bitchy look at the real Diana Ross. Robin was interviewed. He spoke of Diana being excellent to work with, though he referred to the usual thing about artists egos Robin also commented about how some of the things in her life would have hurt her. I make no judgement on this, but even on things like this, it's incredible to witness the difference between B & R in terms of how much they're appearing in public. --------------------------------- ALL-NEW Yahoo! I will be going to Ireland on the 26th of September. We will land in Kerry and we will be renting a car. This should be very interesting since neither of us have ever driven on the outer side of the car or road.... We have not made any reservations in and B & B yet. We are going to just "wing" it when we get there. Is there any chance we could possibly meet up? We will do the Ring of Kerry and then I don't really know. We will return on the 29th, which is also my bi Let me know if anything would work for you. If so, maybe you could sent me your phone number and I could call you to make arrangements.
