That information is highly classified. If I were to divulge that, the entire list would cease to exist. More seriously though, I have a pretty good idea of who it was that coined him Mr. SB but I'd prefer to let that person take the credit for it and explain their reason(s), if they desire to. Let's just say the nickname fits him, like a plastic bag tied around the neck :) Bill > -----Original Message----- > Date: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 18:29:17 +0300 > From: "melissagibson" > Subject: Re: Robin on Stage .... > > How did Brian get the nickname "Mr Show Biz"? > > Michelle --------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 15:49:42 -0400 From: Edward Vlasov Subject: RE: Robin on Stage .... lbc> Ahhh, the nephew rears his ugly head again .............. I'm sure. My guess it's a niece. A nephew would say "I understand Robin the best", but the message was about mutual sympathy. But I guess this is just what we have to look for in the future. Robin doing his thing, and > > Barry off doing..... Whatever he wants to do. And whether we like it or not, if his activities include writing music and performing it or never appearing in public again, its his choice. He is the one who has to be happy with his actions, not us. Barry doesn't owe any of us anything. Just because we bought the music he and his brothers made, it does not obligate him to continue on, now or in the future. If it had not been for contractual obligations, I think he would have been idle for longer than he has been. Barry lost interest in working well before Maurice died. The results were Robin recording Magnet and Maurice burying himself in his Paintball activities. There is only so much you can do when 1/3 of your business refuses to work. The Bee Gees are over. If Robin wants to work, God bless him. If Barry doesn't want to work or to appear on stage, God bless him too. Who are we to say what should or should not be? What we think should happen is really of no importance in the long run. Barry and Robin are the ones who live their lives, not us.
