(#2004-58) - Topics this issue: 1) Robin on Stage ...., 2) Robin on Stage ...., ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Thu, 08 Jul 2004 10:45:05 +0000 From: "Janel Clayton" Subject: Robin on Stage .... Joy .... I noticed this too. There also seemed to be a slight bit of the screeching feedback during "Jive Talkin" ( I believe it occurred the first time you saw that disco ball graphic ). Further, and not just with Robin, there were one or two times the orchestra seemed to drown out the primary performer ( think Barry Bostwick as he sang one of the patriotic songs ). I just have to keep reminding myself it was live tv after a very rain soaked day ... these things will sometimes happen. Just like someone's screams ( yours truly ) as Barry Bostwick introduced Robin probably caught some audience members and maybe a technical person off guard. All that said, the producers got what they Ann said they wanted ... people out of their seats and moving to the music! I'm just very grateful for the opportunity that was presented to me ... why do I get the feeling PBS will call me for a major contribution during their next campaign :) Janel >Hi Judy and all ~ > >While we do joke about Robin "strangling" the microphone (think Doug >started >that one on this thread and it was funny), did anyone else notice that at >least during the first two songs he was having trouble with bringing it up >to >where he wanted it and keeping it there?
