To thing outherwise would be ridiculous. It was to be televised all over the place, there was no room for mistakes. That makes perfect sense. I think some of us are just missing the old Robin Gibb leads, is all And I agree with Joy--looked like he had microphone problems. I sincerely apologize to you and everyone if it came across that I was implying I was a better fan than you or ANYONE!! Not my intention at all~~just saying that you hadn't gone Sunday and maybe you'd had the smarter idea to stay out Marie(wishing now that she had stayed that lurker she normally is.........back to lurk mode) Linda Johnston wrote: Marie writes: > Had it not been for the WONDERFUL friends I met here on the list and then shared this AWESOME weekend I wouldn't have done it alone! What gives Marie? Are we playing the "who's a more dedicated fan game" here or what? Yes my dear words list members, it is true. I, Linda J, drove 14 1/2 hours to attended the sound check and dress rehearsals on Saturday, and then for personal reasons chose NOT to attend the actual 4th of July concert in person. BFD! Like millions of other people, I watched it on tv. Linda J "Words & Music", Fans Of The Brothers Gibb ( Bee Gees ) http://www.brothersgibb.com --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hi Judy: I thought his stage performance was a little better myself especially as the performance went on, but I wonder why he doesn't get a chair, and a hand mic. If you watch some of the old videos, many of them were recorded with the guys sitting down. Robin looks so much more relaxed this way. I'd like to see him try this. They played him singing one of their songs, very well I might add. His English is excellent. Quite a moving little snippet when he talks about the torture he suffered.=20 Quite interesting.
