Looking back at his solo albums, Robin has always been the one who seemed to go for something different, searching for alternate outlets for his creativity. More power to him. It must take a great deal of courage to go on tour, the first ever by one Bee Gee, interpreting Bee Gees songs as well as his own. And it would indeed be fun to hear him do something "unexpected" with the orchestra. "I Still Love You," anyone? Anne ----- Original Message ----- > Now... why so many Barry songs? Naughty, naughty .... And who's to say that re-working old songs isn't creative? Right now, it seems to be working for Robin. Wasted time? Of course not. If we can't be supportive about what they're doing (or not doing) now, let's at least remember with gratitude what they've already given us and quite complaining. The passing of Mo gave me a sense of frustration.... it was over and they had waisted a lot of time, for all the years they lost in fights instead of writing and releasing new material...., how many great songs we lost?. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 18 Sep 2004 01:20:54 -0400 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Gibb Songs In Cartoons...
