Some > people can be intimidating but opinions are like butt holes, > everyone has at least one. Which begs the question: "Who amongst this group has more than one (and I'm not referring to opinions)????" Opinions are what make this list function. I would venture that mindless chit-chat drives far more people away from this list than do strongly-expressed opinions. Cool. Neat. Awesome. You go, girl. Well said. It has been many years since I have actually gone into DC for the 4th. It's funny, how I live right here and people come from all over to celebrate in our Nation's Capital, just one of the things I guess I have taken for granted over the years. In all my 30+ years of living here I have probably only gone into DC about 8 times for the 4th of July Celebrations. In fact, last week my sister and I were talking about our Holiday plans and thought about going down to the Mall this year........but it's funny........we ruled it out because we said to each other "been there, done that too many times, and we certainly aren't as young as we were back in the 80's and early 90's". ...........but............. Then I find out Robin is part of the Capitol Fourth celebration! It's funny that all of a sudden my sister and I have decided we're not too old to go down there this year afterall! I am so excited......... Getting ready to go down there in a bit today because the rehersals start at around 4 pm. Thought it would be cool to see that too......and shouldn't be as crowded......... Anyway, just wanted to share my good fortune and excitement........
