I'm sorry you thought there was some bias against Turks on this list. It was not intended, I'm sure. Any conflict between your country and ours ended at the end of the first world war, in my opinion. As I said previously, a friend has visited your country once or twice over the years and raved about how lovely it was. I wish I could have the opportunity to see some of the places I have heard about through this list, but unless some kind person has a lot of money to throw my way, that's not going to happen. Anyone out there got too much? :-) From Mary Pridham, Adelaide, South Oz -----Original Message----- From: ListMember@brothersgibb.com [mailto:ListMember@brothersgibb.com] On Behalf Of Fla Mito Sent: Friday, 25 July 2003 2:23 AM To: words List Member Subject: Re: Digest (07/24/2003 12:01) (#2003-4346) Hello everyone, Being a very passive member of the group I must say that I enjoy your emails very much. I've always enjoyed hearing other people's stories of encounters with them and am grateful to those who shared them - including you, Annie. I'm always eager for info but never jealous of those who had it. (Curious maybe, but not jealous.) I've got good memories of my own, and have made true friends as well as casual acquaintances online.
