He really loves the song, and admires them. Because it made such a huge impact, I am planning to go to the Robbie Williams concert in Madrid, in the Palacio de Vista Alegre, on October 22nd. I guess it has the same high energy level as the Spirits Tour shows, and the right set of strong suitable songs. If you can open with Let Me Entertain You, or You Should Be Dancing, have a middle section with Swing Songs, or a medley with three men and one guitar, and close with Angels or How Deep Is Your Love, and have 12 other great different songs in the mix, well... then you really have made it as an entertaining artist, or group, pleasing big stadiums worldwide... Many of us have had the same experience, more than once. It hurts when you learn that people aren't who they pretend to be and are only using you to get what they want....but such is life...you learn from the experience and move on. And in the process, somehow, you find real friends, friends who are genuine and want nothing more from you than your friendship. Friends that don't kiss up to your face while using you to get Gibb gossip, to get close to the Gibbs, to get Gibb pictures, or even for their financial gain, as they are talking to others about you behind your back. Friends who don't beg you to tell what you know or have seen or have heard in one breath and cut you down for knowing it in the next. The big bonus is, you learn to recognize those who "play the game" and stay away from them. Its a cut throat world in the land of Gibb and jealousy is the ruler. Frustrated that they have the information and share it? Isn't that why you belong to lists in the first place? To learn information about the Gibbs? Or frustrated that you aren't the one with first hand knowledge? You have a life that includes reading lists that were created for the sole purpose of sharing information about the Bee Gees. That information has to come from somewhere. Lumping everyone that shares in the same catergory of "you need to get a life" is exactly why I stopped sharing my experiences long ago. I had heard that he was trying to "down size" his inventory of drum sets before Maurice died. There could have been many reasons for this...storage space, financial, or simply that he was tired of playing the set. I am sure that he has/had lots of instruments since he is a university music professor and there wasn't a need to let them go unused.
