Subject: Ebony Hello, Mary, how can you not love Flesh And Blood??!! Robin's voice is absolutely amazing in the second verse, full of such power and emotion. I am also pleased with the lyrics. Although it has been said to be about a bi-racial relationship, hense "ebony," I would argue its about a woman that has a "blackened" heart and manner: someone who steal someone's heart and then "leave the scene of the crime." One is a superb album with many terrific songs and I feel that FAB should considered one of those songs! Carol's comment that it turned out better than she expected may help.
