There is a small photo of his face ( a really nice picture) and two pictures of his home. One showing the front of the home and the other of an indoor pool or pond. The article reads "The Surrey, England, home of Bee Gee Maurice Gibb, who died in January at the age of 53, is selling for upwards of $10 million (that's Australian dollars). The estate includes a five-bedroom mansion, a full recording studio, two guesthouses and a koi pond that once served as a skating rink." Does anyone know what a "koi" pond is? I would put in Here at Last, the Bee Gees live or One Night Only to show how good the brothers were while performing. I was lucky enough to see them in concert in 1979, with the Spirit's tour, and I always thought they were great at performing live. Maybe the One Night Only video would be a better choice. Christine E. ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Judy" Hi..... I've been thinking about this and want to ask you for your choice with something FUN, here goes...... Let's say that there is a time capsule being put together and only 1 video of the the Bee Gees could be put into it to represent who they were, with just a sentence or two with it about why you think the Bee Gees were so popular for their time? What would all of you pick and what would you say along with it? (So, right about now...are you thinking that she had way too much time on her hands while being on vacation??? LOL!) I think my choice would be the "Bee Gees, This Is Where I Came In" video. And I would say - - - There has never been another song writing, recording, and performing group as long lasting, that was able to keep their sound so current and fresh despite so many ups and downs, in which touched so many people all over the world for so many consistant years. I'm just curious as to what others would pick and thought this would be FUN! I'm anxious to hear from ALL of you! Thanks....Judy (still...as curious as ever) _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Jul 2003 14:47:51 +0930 From: "Mary Pridham" Subject: RE: for Aussie fans Thanks for that information Kathy - and for the picture of the fish as well. Disagreements (as long as kept respectful by all involved) keep the forum lively and actually lead to other topics. So keep those thought-provoking, controversial posts going!!
