I just stumbled across a very very talented young musician, Michael Bublé . It's mostly 40s, 50s, and 60s remakes from tony bennet and the like. He has a version of HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART that's wonderful. I got a pleasant surprise towards the end of the track when the Gibbs were included in the song. It sounded like an edited version of their original recording blended with this new one, but I could be mistaken. Has anybody heard this rendition of the song? Thanks! Regards, ~Lucas ===== "Once you have flown, you will walk the Earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you long to return." -- Leonardo DaVinci __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? It's Barry only on the track, not Robin or Maurice. David Foster sent it to him to add his voice on it, and at Target anyway, they have a sticker on the cover saying "Includes How Can You Mend A Broken Heart featuring Barry Gibb" Brian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lucas Crouch" To: "words List Member" Sent: Monday, July 07, 2003 11:23 AM Subject: Michael Bublé and "Words" > Dear List, > > Hi, this is Lucas (the air force pilot one), I'm > normally a happy lurker. Genine -- I think you have a remarkable 6-year-old son! Morgan knows the discography and covers of Bee Gees albums and can perform their songs, while most of the 6-year-olds I know are more interested in tying the cat's tail to the dog's and setting fire to the babysitter! How did you manage to rear such a savvy young fellow?? Debbie i love the hat on the living eyes album!! genine morgan, though, prefers, high civilization ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 07 Jul 2003 15:15:32 -0400 From: LAgerg@aol.com Subject: RE: More Lists This past weekend they did the essential Fleetwood Mac on a local radio station in Alphabetical Order A-Z according to song title-that might be a nice little challenge for this group to do the Bee Gees songs that way-they could be group or solo records. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 7 Jul 2003 15:21:59 -0400 From: Debbie Howell Subject: It's what's inside that counts! Linda and Kathy -- Do these notes about Robin's underwear mean we Americans aren't the only ones that are hung up on outward appearances and designer labels?? Call me unAmerican, but personally I always say it's what's INSIDE a fellow's shorts that's important! Not So Shallow Howell Ditto, I thought they were too big for any of the brothers. I'll wait for the poll about whether or not the undies "really" were Robin's, 'cuz I still say you could cram two of him into those - they were HUGE! ------------------------------ End words@brothersgibb.com Digest [07/07/2003 18:01] ----------------------------------------------------
