I already thought I didn't hear it before. Ow well, this means I have to dig it up somewhere here, being close to the German border. I sure hope this single makes a dent! -- Juan ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 20:59:51 +0100 From: "G.R.Gooch" Subject: Re: Favorite Love Songs In no particular order :- 1. Cherry Red 2. And The Sun Will Shine 3. Stay Alone 4. The Only Love 5. Heart Like Mine 'Bodyguard' just misses out on being a dynamite smoocher by wasting the second half of the song with the "Stop before we go too far" line repeated over and over again. For me, it detracts from the structure of the song which starts off giving the listener feelings of security (and the chance to hold your partner in a tighter clinch)... but then the lyrics go down a different path. Gibb songs are always so exquisitely well crafted, but this one really annoys me because it could have been so much better. Re-written, it could become one of the greatest songs to end any dance or wedding party etc. Graham in Manchester, UK. -- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 16:09:47 EDT From: CADaisyJane@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (07/06/2003 06:01) (#2003-4273) --part1_157.20f0cacd.2c39dc0b_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Sal - Speaking of P. Diddy's quote in a recent People.....In the July 14, 2003, People on Page 24, Scoop, there is a Pop Quiz with P. Diddy (no mention of Bee Gees in this rather idiotic interview). Interestingly enough, directly below that is a short article with 2 photos about the sale of Maurice's home. For those who may not get to see the issue, here is the article: On The Block, Maurice Gibb's Mansion Bee Gee Maurice Gibb, who died last Jauary at the age of 53, left behind this Surrey, England, mansion. It's on the market for $6.7 million and includes a heart-shaped pool bearing the astrological signs of the singer and his wife, Yvonne. The four-acre estate also includes a full recording studio, two guest houses and a koi pond that once served as a roller rink. Gibb's family will remain in Florida, where they have another home. BTW, thanks for the info about Herbie Mann's passing- another loss to the music world :( Joy --part1_157.20f0cacd.2c39dc0b_boundary-- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 16:14:08 EDT From: CADaisyJane@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (07/06/2003 06:01) (#2003-4273) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 16:19:09 EDT From: CADaisyJane@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (07/06/2003 06:01) (#2003-4273) --part1_84.14b82a5d.2c39de3d_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sal wrote > More Lists??
