My best guess is that he just mixed up his words. Diddy "I listen to the Bee Gees, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...." The Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd fans would love hearing that! I wonder what would bug them more, P. Diddy grouping the Bee Gees with two bands that are considered the sacred cows of Rock or that a hip-hop star has the nerve to actually listen to them? In case anyone is interested, I have never been interested in hard rock and find the entire genre overrated. I guess he can be considered one of those early disco auteurs. I don't know if anyone came across this, but I read in a local New York newspaper that Herbie Mann died. You may recall, he was a great flutist who did that great solo on Spirits (Having Flown). It's the part that follows the choruses. Like me, and Bill Busch I believe, he was a native of Brooklyn, thus the local write-up. Brian wrote: >I hope so and believe it will >The legacy can grow You have a point there, but for me the crucial question at this point is whether or not Barry and Robin will continue at all. What actual name they go under is kind of secondary. Robin's most recent statements seem to point to them continuing together, but Robin tends to talk impulsively to the press. Personally, I'm waiting to hear from Barry. When Barry says something on the subject, then we'll know Unfortunately, Barry has been virtually out of sight and other than the BBC interview he and Robin gave right after Maurice died, we haven't heard anything from him on this topic. As far as I'm concerned, it's still up in the air. We don't know yet what RobinGibb.com 2.0 will look like when it is finished. I never went in the front door (with the Flash intro) anyway. It took ages to load and the page with the Please audio clip made my computer freeze up. It isn't so much the design that is the problem but the lack of news and appearance updates. When they did appear, they appeared solely on the forum and not on the website itself. New visitors might not get that and thought the website was more or less inactive. /Ronnie The Omipotent King of Scania & Court Jester at Cucumber Castle Wanted List http://klippan.seths.se/~kl19082a/ http://www.brothersgibb.com Bee Gees News and Information ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2003 10:20:49 +0200 From: Ronnie Olsson Subject: Re: Charlies Angels 2003-07-06 07.05, skrev BevSully@aol.com p=E5 BevSully@aol.com f=F6ljande: > Maybe there's going to be another Charlie's Angels movie. >=20 > Just a thought, > Bev Judging by the reviews, not very likely /Ronnie The Omipotent King of Scania & Court Jester at Cucumber Castle Wanted List http://klippan.seths.se/~kl19082a/ http://www.brothersgibb.com Bee Gees News and Information ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2003 10:23:43 +0200 From: Ronnie Olsson Subject: Re: More Lists 2003-07-06 08.08, skrev SCompo1993@aol.com p=E5 SCompo1993@aol.com f=F6ljande: > More Lists??? >=20 > This is what I get for being a wise guy! >=20 > Sal So you ARE a wise guy, I thought as much /Ronnie ...checking his feet for traces of cement ;) The Omipotent King of Scania & Court Jester at Cucumber Castle Wanted List http://klippan.seths.se/~kl19082a/ http://www.brothersgibb.com Bee Gees News and Information ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2003 11:17:25 +0200 From: marion budde Subject: Re: Robin on ARD show tonight At 21:56 05.07.03 +0200, you wrote: >Ow well, I recorded the show to my hard disk, but unfortunately lame me >selected the wrong sound input source (first time I used the card, won't >happen again) and I only got the picture (192 MB in MPEG1 standard).
