The Stayin' Alive video is always a fun one - the strutting down the street and the way Robin and Maurice "pop" out the windows on either side of Barry. I saw the One For All concert again the other night - just love the smile and mischievious look in Maurice's eyes before he grabs the camera. Definitely the good old days..... My father took my brother and I. I was only 13 at that time and it was almost 25 years ago, so it's kind of fuzzy, even though I have some very vivid memories of the concert. I don't remember the lineup of songs for that tour. Does anyone remember? Robin is clearly immersing himself into work and appears to be desperately trying to remain active. Barry, I would imagine, is spending time at home with his family. Not suprising that they are approaching this grieving period differently since they are very different people. In addition, it's understandable for Robin to focus on work, and not just because Mo's death coincided with the release of Magnet, but I think more due the fact that Robin, unlike Barry, doesn't have a strong family life to fall back on and take comfort in. Barry has a more traditional marriage (to put it mildly) than Robin and has his children, and now a grandchild, with him. My thinking is that if Robin wasn't busying himself with work he would find himself often home alone. As far as Barry getting motivated to start working again, I think we all have to keep in mind that Barry wasn't doing all that much recently even before Mo died. How his death has impacted on Barry's future plans is anyone's guess, but for what it's worth, I wouldn't anticipate anything soon. (It wouldn't suprise me if Barry has written a load of new songs, though).
