Is this something new, or a repeat from a past show? The commercial mentions a special tribute to the Bee Gees. Just wondered if I had missed something. Okay, I really don't like to post at times like this, but I guess I can't help myself. Chris, I don't think you need to defend yourself at all. I appreciate your explanations, but honestly, it's your list, we are lucky to have it, and you have never given me any reason to doubt your decisions. In fact, many times you have posted to the li About this Sandy in Chicago thing: Well, I don't know if it's Sandy or if it's Terri in disguise. I am really Yvonne Wright, and I don't try to mask it (I am proud to have the name Yvonne!) I just have two comments: 1. My biggest petpeeve about this list is those who send those "covert" messages, usually one-liners, postulating that they know some "secrets" or "inside information" about the Gibbs that we don't, then refuse to elaborate. It's simply ridiculous to ac 2. I am bothered by a statement saying that Chris is keeping things from us, that he is not telling us everything he knows. Again, this is ridiculous. Why would he do that? And what on earth is there to tell? If this person (Sandy) knows something we I simply don't get this line of thinking. I am now done with my rant. Yvonne I didnt mean that he was keeping stuff from us himself. I meant that by censoring out mentions of other websites like Gee Ess Eye and places like that hes keeping the list memebers from maybe knowing about things that are on other places. I know we can all go and check out sites but I don't go everywhere or even know about all the places around. I pretty much depend on this list to let me know whats going on and who's been updated or who has news or whatever. So it bothers me to find out that he's keeping us from posting when a certain place has something new. Thats what I meant. This is not a situation that *I* have created. This is just the end result of a situation that others created. I am not to blame here. I think you need to look harder at the real situation and direct your frustration in towards the cottect people. This is my last comment on this subject matter. .....----===*Chris... http://www.brothersgibb.com Bee Gees News and Information ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 16:09:16 EDT From: CADaisyJane@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (07/17/2003 00:34) Special Issue (#2003-4316) --part1_156.2198bdd2.2c485c6c_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Lloyd - Thanks for the info on People Magazine Special/Pop Icons - I will be sure to check it out :) Joy --part1_156.2198bdd2.2c485c6c_boundary-- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 22:12:45 +0300 From: "melissagibson" Subject: Re: All this Making Love (NOT!) But Sandy, Chris has explained the reasons. He bans people because of problems they've caused, so it's their fault, not his. Besides, if you want to find out more stuff, you could always go on the Internet and search. For instance, I usually type into "Search" 'Bee Gees World Links' and a huge list of sites comes up, including the aforementioned site Gee Ess Eye. You could try that. But really, it's not fair having a go at Chris, he does a good job with this list. So why don't we just settle down?
