Lois S. Exactly, it's just how the circumstances have fallen, if Robin hadn't been in the process of promoting Magnet, I doubt we'd be seeing anything of him. Barry has been seen out and about, but I would think his priority at the moment is to his family. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lois Strappello To: words List Member Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 6:01 PM Subject: Re: Bee Gee Q & A Agreed. I still cry when I hear a Bee Gees song or see the video of Andy on the As for the size thing, I don't know their actual size but Barry was the tallest (that is obvious from pictures and the concerts!) then Robin, then Maurice and then Andy. As for the '79 Spirits tour..I was at the Houston '79 concert and still have the tour book!!! and the newspaper article and ticket stub!!!!!!!! And yes I saw John Travolta on stage dancing to You Should Be Dancing as he was in the Houston area at that time filming Urban Cowboy. The Gibb Family doesn't owe us anything. If Barry chooses to stay in seclusion for the rest of his life, that is up to him. He lost his brother, not you. He has every right to take as long as he wants and needs to grieve the loss of his brother. It's not like he can get up and say "oh well Maurice is gone, such is life I'm going about my business." The brothers were extremely close as we all know, and everyone grieves differently. It doesn't matter if you like how they are dealing with their grief. Stop and think for a moment. The Gibbs gave to us for many years, and right now they need for us to give to them. What do the fans give them, whining about how long is going to be before Barry gets back to work. Show a little compasion and give the man some space. _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2003 16:17:33 -0400 From: SEJBogdan@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (07/16/2003 15:19) Special Issue (#2003-4314)1979, with the Spirit's tour SW4gYSBtZXNzYWdlIGRhdGVkIDcvMTYvMjAwMyAyOjIwOjEwIFBNIEVhc3Rlcm4gU3RhbmRhcmQg VGltZSwgTGlzdE1lbWJlckBicm90aGVyc2dpYmIuY29tIHdyaXRlczoKCj4gMTk3OSwgd2l0aCB0 aGUgU3Bpcml0J3MgdG91cgpIaSBCZXYKSSB3YXMgMTQgYW5kIHNhdyB0aGUgQmVlIEdlZXMgaW4g TmV3IEhhdmVuLiAgSSB3YXMgaW4gcm93IDQxIG9uIHRoZSBmbG9vciB3aXRoIHR3byBvZiBteSBn aXJsZnJpZW5kcy4uLkFsa2EgYW5kIFNoZXJyaS4uLi5vdXIgcGFyZW50cyBkcm92ZSB1cyBhbmQg SSBoYXZlIGEgY3V0ZSBzdG9yeSBhYm91dCBteSBtb20gcGlja2luZyB1cyB1cC4gIE15IG1vdGhl ciB3YXMgZnJvbSAidGhlIG9sZCB3b3JsZCIgYW5kIGNhbWUgd2l0aCBhbm90aGVyIGZyaWVuZHMg cGFyZW50cyB0byBwaWNrIHVzIHVwIC4gIFRoZXkgIGdvdCB0aGVyZSBlYXJseSBhbmQgbXkgbW90 aGVyIHdhbnRlZCB0byBjb21lIGluIHRvIGdldCBtZS4udGhpbmtpbmcgc2hlIHdhcyBnb2luZyB0 byBmaW5kIG1lIGluIGEgdGhyb25nIG9mIGxpa2UgMTUsMDAwIHNjcmVhbWluZyBmYW5zLiAgT2J2 aW91c2x5IHRoZXkgd291bGRuJ3QgbGV0IGhlciBpbiB0byAibG9vayIgZm9yIG1lLiBJIGhhdmUg c3VjaCB2aXZpZCBtZW1vcmllcyBvZiB0aGF0IGNvbmNlcnQgZm9yIGJlZm9yZSB0aGUgY29uY2Vy dCB0aGV5IGhhbmRlZCBvdXQgdGhlc2UgImNvbmNlcnQgcGFydHkiIHRpY2tldHMgZm9yIGFmdGVy IHRoZSBzaG93Li4uYW5kIGV2ZXJ5b25lIHdhcyBzbyBleGNpdGVkIGFib3V0IGdvaW5nIHRoaW5r aW5nIHRoZSBndXlzIHdvdWxkIGJlIHRoZXJlIGFuZCBtYWtlIGFuIGFwcGVhcmFuY2UuICBJIGNv dWxkbid0IGdvIGFuZCB3YWl0ZWQgdW50aWwgMTk5NCB1bnRpbCBJIGdvdCB0aGUgb3Bwb3J0dW5p dHkgdG8gbWVldCBhbGwgMyBHaWJicy4gIEJ1dCBJIHdyb3RlIGEgd2hvbGUgc3lub3BzaXMgd29y ZCBmb3Igd29yZCBvZiB0aGF0IGNvbmNlcnQgaW4gYSBkaWFyeSB0aGF0IEkgZm91bmQgYSBmZXcg eWVhcnMgYmFjay4uLmZyb20gc3RhcnRpbmcgdGhlIHNob3cgb2ZmIHdpdGggVHJhZ2VkeSBhbmQg dGhlIHB5cm90ZWNobmljcyBnb2luZyBvZmYgZHVyaW5nIHRoZSBndW5zaG90IHRvIG1lIHNjcmVh bWluZyBkdXJpbmcgV29yZHMgYW5kIEhvdyBDYW4geW91IE1lbmQgYSBCcm9rZW4gSGVhcnQuIEJ1 dCBJIHdhcyB0aGVyZSwgaW4gTmV3IEhhdmVuLCBBdWd1c3QgMjd0aCwgMTk3OS4uLnJpZ2h0PyBv ciB3YXMgaXQgdGhlIDI0dGg/ICBJIGhhdmUgdGhlIHRpY2tldCBzdHViIGluIGEgc2NyYXBib29r IHNvbWV3aGVyZS4gQW5kIGl0IGlzIGZ1bm55IGhvdyBtYW55IHBlb3BsZSBJIGhhdmUgbWV0IG92 ZXIgdGhlIHBhc3QgMjAgKyB5ZWFycyB0aGF0IHdlcmUgdGhlcmUgYWxzby4KU29ueWEKRmFpZmll bGQsIENUCg== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2003 16:27:49 -0400 From: Debbie Howell Subject: That blankity-blank headmaster Maggie and Joe -- Me too!!
