A bit uptight are we??? Might I suggest to hold it in longer next time? I know Di personally so I'm safe in stating that she is NOT whining. Just like Barry has a right to take as long as he wants, everyone has to right to do inquire what it might take to get him working again. It's a natural process to wonder these things about anyone .... Such is life. I saw your posting about what the Gibbs may or may not be doing and could not agree more. I remember the criticisms some on this list had when "Magnet" was about to come out ... the tone of some people's emails seemed to be so mean to Robin, like how dare he do something without his brothers. And remember, Robin was for a long time my least favorite ( of course Maurice will always be my favorite but with each passing day I realize more and more just how "beautiful" Robin truly is ) Let me rehash something I said on another list .... Robin and Barry must do what is best for THEM ... not what they think Maurice would want them do, their families want them to do, their fans want them to do, they must do what they think is best for THEM. I will respect that decision no matter what it is .... I get the feeling you feel the same way Lynn. If it's true, why does it matter? Most of the self-appointed "authorities" on this list don't substantiate their sources, and even if they do, "the list" half the time doesn't believe they really talked to the source they say they had talked to, or don't believe they understood the source correctly, or believe the source lied (including in the past, Barry, Robin, and Maurice). I was just 14 years old when I found out about the Spirits Tour and took it upon myself to get tickets to what would be only my second concert. This was of course before you could get tickets online! I got up really early and got on a bus and then a train and went into Boston at about 5 am ALONE (what was I thinking?) to wait in line for tickets to the Providence RI show. I'm not sure of the date but I think it might have been August 28th (???) Anyway, I convinced 3 friends and one of their mothers to come along. We had the worst seats in the house but it didn't matter. I brought a horrible little 110 camera along but was only able to get a few very faraway pictures by simply raising the camera over my head and those of all of the people standing in front of me. The pics of course were pitiful and blurry but I still cherish them! What a fabulous memory!! Peace, Mary P.S. By the way, my first concert ever was Andy Gibb at the Music Hall in Boston...I didn't hear anything he sang over all the screaming but I am glad that I got to see him!! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2003 20:16:30 +0100 From: "Maggie Bleksley" Subject: Fame Academy It beats me why that's not allowed in its correct context too!
