Paying the price was in the UK charts, but the album wasn't yet out. I woke up one Sunday morning switched on the radio and heard Barry, then I heard Robin. I instantly felt the song was a classic, even though I onl caught the second half of it and was listening on a small clock radio. I would regard it as the most wonderfully crafted song of the 90's. I remember a while ago, someone here saying how no matter how often they heard it, with every new listen, they stopped and did a double-take everytime they heard Barry singing the verse. It gets me that way too...I always think of it as a Robin song. OK - so.....maybe I`m a wee bit slow........ Which track specifically? I ask because the song "St Elmo's Fire" is performed by John Parr - I guess that you're asking about "Love Theme From St Elmo's Fire (For Just One Moment)" - in that the vocalist s are Donny Gerrard and Amy Holland. Can't actually say that I've ever listened to anything other than "Young And Innocent" by Elefante on that album - John Elefante was the lead singer in Kansas for a couple of albums - those of you in the US might remember their hit single "Play The Game Tonight" in 1982. Even though Barry is my favorite, and could we hazard a guess that Robin is yours, Mo has a totally different sounding voice and does a wonderful job on those two songs. I didn't get the song from the soundtrack, it was downloaded from one of those evil mp3 sites and it was listed as David Foster. >>>>>>>>>>>I ask because the song "St Elmo's Fire" is performed by John Parr - I guess that you're asking about "Love Theme From St Elmo's Fire (For Just One Moment)" - in that the vocalist s are Donny Gerrard and Amy Holland.
