(not Whitney) >You have gotten to see The Brothers in other concerts, I hope?? I was able to see them for their "One For All" Tour in 1989. It was at "Great Woods" in Massachusetts. It was kind of sad as there were not that many people at the concert. Funny story though, I was "hooting and hollering" so much that one person threw an empty cup at me. (there were 3 guys there about 4 rows back) Everyone was standing and clapping at this point. Well, I could not believe that someone threw something at me! I must have had a really pissed off look on my face because as soon as I turned around and looked at them, they all three looked at me kind of scared like and they immediately sat down! They did not bother me any more! It was a good concert. But I was sad to see such a small crowed. Perhaps 10 thousand, if that... I would have LOVED to have seen them during the "Spirits" era! ......----===*Chris... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 21:32:03 -0700 From: "Christine Secrist" Subject: Re: Houston, we have a problem... (not Whitney) Yeah, I know what you mean about wishing there were more people at the concert. I worked at an AF base in Florida and periodically I would receive blocks of tickets to give to the military FREE because sales were lagging and it wouldn't look good to have a lot of empty seats. We're not talking local bands either. I saw The Beach Boys one time and Whitney Houston another. I've never gotten to see The Brothers in concert. Always seemed to be in the wrong part of the world. And when I lived in South Florida, I had no idea they lived and worked in the area. Oh well, such is life. Sigh.
