As to how much exposure the kids have had to Michael only he and Linda know. Personally, I respect him for remaining silent on the current status of Michael. Whether guilty or not, Michael obviously didn't learn anything from the last encounter and those celebrities who publicly proclaim his innocence without knowing all of the facts make me suspicious. Others decide to run for the hills. All depends on how the people involved look at the world, I guess. I can see Barry as a stabilizing factor in MJ's life, and perhaps Barry sees himself that way too. Who knows. Personally, I would be tickled pink if Barry's friendship at least gave the MJ family a nodding acquaintence with a relatively healthy and stabl ListMember@brothersgibb.com wrote: I'm all for loyalty, too. I think they drifted apart as one could expect of busy people living far apart. When MJ was in Miami, at the time we lost Maurice, he was actually trying to raise money to pay a $70,000,000 payment on a debt he has. He did get most of the money from a Miami businessman. He got together with Barry while he was in town and they wrote a song together but that was not the reason he was here. I have not heard anything about MJ and Barry since that time. I live in the area and it's always on the news when he's here. I don't think that the fact Barry saw him a year ago (before the indictment) actually means they are close friends. Diana If I recall correctly, which, I do. Michael Jackson happens to be Michael's godfather. So, of course Barry doesn't mind being in his presence! -------------------------------1074736723-- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Jan 2004 20:43:37 -0800 From: "Full Spectrum Records" Subject: Re: Digest (01/19/2004 18:01) (#2004-4993) What is "WEA", Andrew?
