He seems to like it and mentions Robin's name first when saying who the song's by. However, on TV I've only seen the video for the other A-side (bring it on). She talked a lot about "First of May". Apparently, days after Maurice died, her record company suggested that she should release it as a single (it being the last recorded Maurice). She said she was almost "physically sick" at the thought about doing so. But months later, she felt it was more appropriate to include it as the final track on her compilation. She'd consulted with Robin & Barry who were both supportive. > > Kilburn Towers > > > Order copies of Ordinary People, the new Bee Gees tribute album with a difference: www.tophatevents.co.uk/tribute.html > > -------------------- > talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at http://www.talk21.com > "Words & Music", Fans Of The Brothers Gibb ( Bee Gees ) > http://www.brothersgibb.com > > To change any of your list options, > please go to website listed above. > ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 8 Jan 2004 10:23:29 -0500 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Daily Music Update from Billboard.com I honestly don't know Sal, as I'm not in the UK. I wondered if anybody has gotten any more information about Ashley and Therese's baby. I remember when Stephen's baby arrived there were a lot of details and even pictures from the hospital.. The only thing I have heard is that the baby was three weeks premature, is a boy, and there were complications.. Anybody know anything else? Just curious.. I cant' listen to Maurice and Lulu singing 'First of May' together without getting pretty choked. Very moving piece of work! They say Maurice was quite nervous about doing it. Seeing the photos on the web of them looking at each other while singing the duet, is also moving. Becky _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
