However, what IS "funny", is the fact that I have been saving every digest for the last week. I don't recall seeing your alert (let alone 2 of them), and when I look back now, I realise that I don't have any for the 19th (which would have been Sunday) . Now THAT's weird. I guess my ISP must be BGS fans, and filed the alert for themselves. -- Julie http://clik.to/immortality/ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 Jan 2003 20:58:35 +1000 From: "Shangri-La" Subject: Channel 9 is an Australian network Channel 9 is an Australian network. I believe the ones that know we are fans and haven't said anything to us just feel very awkward about it. What we need to do is focus on the positive things like your two e-mails. That is ultimately what will get us through this. | I got the sweetest email from my 11-year-old nephew | the other day. He wrote, "I'm sorry Maurice Gibb | died. I hope you feel better about it." And my best | friend emailed me that when she heard about Maurice, | she thought of me and hoped I was okay. I have met other people in the same position, so it doesn't prove anything, but I've never heard anything about them being jewish. Well, Australia and New Zealand have certainly made inroads on US culture, between kiwi tv shows such as "Xena" and the Australian developments in the film industry ("Moulin Rouge," to name one...). It's starting to reach the point where, if you really want to make it big in the entertainment world, you need to stop wasting time in NY, London or LA and move "down under" to where things are REALLY happening... Say, wonder if Festival Records is still signing up promising songwriters...?
