On Entertainment Tonight last Tuesday, they stated that we would hear more od Maurice in the future, as he recorded and completed an album with this two children, Adam and Samantha a few weeks before his illness and death. Does anyone know anything about this? I hope he did, as it will be lasting treasure for his children of their dad. While I agree with Barry and Robin's decision to investigate Maurice's death to the fullest, I for one am hoping that there was no negligence. Mo's death is so sad and tragic, the thought that he may have died needlessly makes it even more of a tragedy and would serve to couple all our sorrow with anger. (They also said the Bee Gees will continue. This was probably said more in defiance of the injustice of Maurice's passing, but indicates, as you would expect, that the enormity of it all). They said the word allege: they said they really didn't know what happened: they needed to find out to be sure. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2003 10:20:59 +0100 From: "Plaza Online" Subject: SV: Mo's new album? This is from May 21, 2001 Q: What sort of music do your kids like? M.Gibb: Well, my daughter, she is 21 in July and my son is 25. They write songs together, they've done an album. I recorded eight tracks, produced it. Blew me away. It's like Romanian pop. It's like gypsy music but funky and I produced that and I did the eight tracks. My daughter blew me away, my son blew me away and the way she sings, sounds very blessed. Lots of kids are. Barry's kids, too. One's an incredible DJ guy. He loves to . Travis, he loves to play the stuff and get involved in all the mixing and engineering and the stuff. Well, Ashley is an engineer. Ashley is also credited on the new album, because he assisted engineering for us for about three weeks on the album. We put his name on because we want to open doors for him.
